Bargain Hunter: Win £200 on the Free Postcode Lottery
The money is paid out every day to a randomly selected postcode
Here's a simple but great idea: a free lottery hands out £200 every day to a randomly selected postcode. The only catch is you have to register your postcode to have it entered and then check a website to see if you've won.
The man behind it – web designer Chris Holbrook – makes his money from the advertising on the site, but there is no need to buy or even click on anything to be a contender for the prize.
To be in with a chance of winning – about £12,000 has been handed out so far – register at freepostcodelottery.com.
Coffee and cosmetics
A tie-up between Starbucks and cosmetics company Benefit means that you can get a free makeover or coffee throughout February.
At Benefit Cosmetics boutiques you can collect a coffee sleeve that can be redeemed at Starbucks for a "buy one, get one free" hot drink.
Meanwhile, at Starbucks you can pick up a pink emoji coaster that will get you a free "make-upper" at a Benefit boutique.
Grocers try to win hearts
Ahead of Valentine's Day on 14 February, Sainsbury's has a Bistro Meal deal for two, including wine, for a tenner. Meanwhile, Tesco reckons you can save £12 by splashing out on its dine-in £20 meal deal, including champagne or prosecco.
Ski prices on downhill slope
If you're planning a half-term family skiing trip, Sports Direct has a range of deals on Nevica products, including helmets at £19.99 and ski jackets from £25.99.
Travel money goes further
There are two currency deals next week. From Monday to Wednesday, 1 to 3 February, Virgin Money has offers on US dollars, euros and Canadian dollars. Asda's travel money sale from Tuesday to Thursday, 2 to 4 February, includes the same currencies as well as offers on Swiss, Bulgarian and UAE money.
