Apple is fixing a really annoying iPhone keyboard feature in iOS 9

Apple is making a minor addition to the keyboard on iPhones and iPads with iOS 9 that is going to make a major difference.

Here it is, in all its majesty:

Didn't spot the change? All the letters are lowercase! Previously, as with a physical keyboard, all the letters would be displayed in uppercase whether you had the shift key pressed or not.

When iOS 9 (which is currently in beta) is released, it might mean the end of ACCIDENTAL SHOUTY MESSAGES.
