Outlook Bo Lerenius is clearly an anti-capitalist campaigner, a scourge of modern business bent on bringing down the system. Cunningly disguised as an experienced non-executive, he stalks boardrooms, unleashing chaos all around him.

He is today one of a batch of directors in the departure lounge at Thomas Cook, but he must feel that his job there is done. The business isn't entirely ruined, but the chances of a full recovery are slight, and the shares are down 90 per cent.

That's good work, possibly even topping earlier efforts, where as chairman of Mouchel he helped to fend off a takeover bid at 153p a share. Mouchel shares today? 5p. Splendid effort.

Oh, and he is also a non-exec at G4S, which just saw a £5bn deal collapse after shareholders vetoed the offer.

It's been an impressive run of form – they are very proud of him backin Sweden.

Critics say his best work is nowsurely behind him. It'd be nice to think he's got one last hit still in him. Rolls-Royce is doing pretty well. Perhaps they have a vacancy...
