Retail giant John Lewis is to open another new store, creating 160 jobs, it was announced today.
The company said it will invest £7 million in the development in Ashford, Kent, with the store due to open in autumn 2012.
The shop, which will sell furniture, electrical and home goods, will be built close to the M20 motorway.
Managing director Andy Street said: "Our plans to open in Ashford will also help realise our ambition to have more than 10 'at home' shops by the end of 2012."
