Abel & Cole serves up another loss

Abel & Cole significantly improved its performance last year, but continuing losses raise questions over the sale price of the online organic food specialist.

The home shopping firm appointed PwC to run a sale process last month and is believed to want £25m. But for the year to 31 August 2010, Abel & Cole posted pre-tax losses of £233,676, compared with a loss of £3.48m the year before.
