Alexander Justham is new boss at LSE plc

A major shake-up of the management at the London Stock Exchange (LSE) yesterday sees one of the City's former leading gamekeepers turn poacher.

Alexander Justham will become chief executive of the regulated subsidiary, LSE plc.

Up until last September he was head of the markets division at the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

In the newly created role, Mr Justham will take responsibility for the LSE's relationship with the successor to the FSA, the Financial Conduct Authority.

Before his move into the regulatory world he was with JP Morgan for 17 years, ultimately as a managing director of JP Morgan Cazenove.
