Arcus buys Forth Ports for £760m
Forth Ports has accepted a £760m bid from Arcus, the infrastructure investor, ending a year-long pursuit of Britain's last listed ports group.
Arcus said it would pay 1,630p a share, plus a dividend of 20p. Forth owns six ports in Scotland, including Dundee and Rosyth, as well as Tilbury on the river Thames.
