Asda launches George homeware range to cash in on housing recovery

Asda is set to take on John Lewis and Debenhams as it puts its successful George branding into hundreds of new homeware ranges.

The UK's third biggest supermarket already sells items such as cushions and chairs but will increase its homeware products by 25 per cent to 4,000 lines under the George brand.
