Barclays in exec move

Valerie Soranno Keating, the head Barclaycard, and Ashok Vaswani, Barclays' chief executive of UK banking, are to join the bank's executive committee.

Mr Vaswani's role will also extend to global head of retail and business banking, while his old post, previously held by new group boss Antony Jenkins, will cease to exist.
