Black Friday deals: Currys PC World round up including 4K TVs, Pebble Smartwatch, Nespresso

Technology store Currys PC World is one of the retailers spreading its deals across the whole week with more than 3,000 offers in preparation for Black Friday.

The UK’s biggest electrical retailer has kicked off its 10 day extended Black Tag event on Monday November 23, online and across its stores.

Its deals include brands such as Nespresso, Dyson, HP Bosch Samsung, Sony Beats and LG, with 30 per cent more discounts than the same period in 2014.

One of its “breakthrough” deals includes a Samsung 60 inch 4K TV available under £1000 for the first time.

The retailer has recruited over 900 colleagues in its Newark delivery and distribution centre and expects to cover 600,000 miles over the Black Friday period. It has also doubled website capability to deal with increased demand.

On top of the discounts already available online, the retailer will release a new set of deals from 6am online and in stores across the country.

Currys PC World is among retailers including Amazon and Argos starting discounts long before November 27 in a bid to ease pressure in stores and online and to avoid customers fatigue.

“For us, it doesn’t start or end with Friday itself. With our strengthened website prepped for inevitable traffic surge and store staff raring to go, plus a 40 per cent increase on stock we’ve worked hard to ensure our shoppers can pick up the best deals at a pace that suits them, whether be that in-store or online over the 10 day period," said Stuart Ramage, Ecommerce Director at Dixons Carphone, the telecommunication retailer behind brands such as Currys PC and Carphone Warehouse.

Large screen 4K TVs with up to £500 off - The Samsung 60JU6000 60 inch 4K TV is available at £899 for the first time, representing a saving of £600, while the Samsung 58J5200 58 inch Smart TV is on offer at £549, a saving of £150.

Wearable tech at half price - the Jawbone UP2 Activity Tracker (Black & Grey) is available for £49 (RRP £89.99) and the Pebble Smartwatch (Black) is on offer at £49 - almost half price (RRP £99).

Nutri-blenders at lowest ever price – The high power Nutri Nija Slim is on sale for only £39.99. The retailer is also offering discounts on small kitchen appliances with prices starting from £25.

Selected Samsung appliances with up to £300 off - 200 off selected Samsung washing machines and £300 off selected Samsung American-style fridge freezers. Meanwhile, there’s up to £150 off Dyson’s most powerful vacuum cleaners, including cordless.
