Davos 2015 in numbers: How the 45th World Economic Forum annual meeting shapes up

More than 2,500 people are attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, this week. The 45th annual meeting lasts for five days and is entitled "The New Global Context".

According to the organisers, the participants, including heads of state and government, will be looking to "strengthen their situation awareness and contextual intelligence" in the face of global "complexity, fragility and uncertainty" that harbours the potential to "end an era of economic integration and international partnership that began in 1989".

More than 100 countries will be represented in the picturesque alpine town, with 791 individuals attending from the US, 283 from the UK and 280 from Switzerland.
