De La Rue in CEO talks
Tim Cobbold, the former chief executive of the power-systems group Chloride, is in advanced talks to fill the vacancy at the helm of De La Rue, the banknote printer which lost its chief executive in the wake of production problems earlier this year.
Mr Cobbold led Chloride's £1bn sale to US group Emerson Electric. De La Rue's chief executive, James Hussey, resigned after taking responsibility for production problems in August.
