Evoque pulls in new jobs

Jaguar Land Rover's Evoque, which starts production in July, has resulted in supply chain contracts worth £2bn awarded to 40 manufacturers in the UK.

The contracts are expected to generate a further 5,000 new jobs in the supply chain. Business Secretary Vince Cable said the deal proved the UK could compete.
