Fortnum & Mason, the luxury department store, has hired a new retail director and is hunting for a new chief executive.
Tim Fisher, who had previously worked at Marks & Spencer, joined the 305-year-old emporium last month. Fortnum, which made a £1.1m profit last year, is understood to be close to hiring a chief executive, following the exit of Beverley Aspinall in May.
Mr Fisher is thought to have been placed by the executive search firm Anthony Gregg Partnership.
