Gibbons look to wedding stamp boost

Sales of Royal Wedding commemorative stamps and mugs should boost profits at Stanley Gibbons, the stamps and collectibles retailer said yesterday.

Gibbons – which posted an 8 per cent rise in pre-tax profits to £4.5m in the year to 31 December, as sales rose 13 per cent to £26.4m – said memorabilia connected to the 2012 London Olympics should provide a similar boost.
