Jack Dorsey, chief executive of Twitter, has confirmed the departure of four more chief executives in a tweet expressing his gratitude for their hard work.
Alex Roetter, vice-president of engineering, Katie Jacobs Stanton, vice-president of global media, Skip Schipper, HR vice-president and Kevin Weil, vice-president of product, are all leaving Twitter as the company tries to turn around its fortunes in the face of shrinking investor confidence.
In a statement published on Twitter, Dorsey said that he was sad to see the foursome go and that they would be taking "some well-deserved time off".
Adam Bain, chief operating officer, will take on additional responsibilities following the departures, including responsibility for revenue-related product teams, the media team and the HR team.
Adam Messinger, chief technical officer, is taking over engineering and consumer product, design, research, user services and Fabric into one group.
Dorsey said of Messinger: "I will be partnering with him day and night to make sure we're building the right experiences."
