A London-based IVF clinic has received significant investment from a private equity firm to drive its expansion in the UK and overseas.

CBPE Capital is thought to have taken a minority stake in excess of 25 per cent in the Assisted Reproduction and Gynaecology Centre, which was founded by Mohamed Taranissi, a world-renowned IVF practitioner, in 1995.

ARGC said strong demand for its IVF services, including from overseas customers, often results in long waiting lists and by opening clinics across the UK and abroad, such as in the Middle East, more patients will benefit.
