MyKindaCrowd.com has got through to the final stages of the UnLtd Big Venture Challenge – a competition to reward 25 social entrepreneurs in the UK and boost investment in the sector.

Launched earlier this year, MyKindaCrowd.com works with UK businesses to create tasks and real-life business challenges. School pupils are then invited to complete the tasks as part of a scheme to provide young business talent with a chance to be recognised by major employers.

The challenge is down to 41 entrants, out of a field of 637; 25 winners will be chosen based on their potential to "transform disadvantaged communities across England". Winners will receive £25,000 and the chance of £150,000 of funding. The results will be announced in September.
