OECD sees signs of global growth
Growth is picking up in most major industrialised countries, according to the OECD. Its monthly indicator for its 33 member states inched up to 100.5 in February from 100.4 in January, slightly above the long-term average of 100, last seen in October.
The US was leading the way, France was stabilising and Italy and Germany were showing sighs of improvement, while the UK remained broadly flat.
