Revolution vodka bars raise a glass to listing
Revolution Bars, the 58-strong chain of vodka-pouring bars chaired by the former Arsenal boss Keith Edelman, has set out plans to float in London with a valuation of up to £200m.
Mr Edelman once ran Storehouse, the retail group which then owned Mothercare and the department store BHS. He is on the board of Supergroup and Goals Soccer Centres.
Revolution wants to spend the cash that it raises from the float on expanding its estate to 140 bars.
It hit underlying earnings of £13.2m last year and reckons its “bar design, table service, hand-made cocktails and freshly prepared food” attracts “customers willing to pay a premium”.
