Tim Brooks to chair media licensing firm
Tim Brooks, the founder of Media Week, has become chairman of NLA media access, the company responsible for the collective licensing of newspaper and magazine publishers' content. Mr Brooks, who launched Media Week in 1985 with two friends, is also on the Government's Digital Advisory Board.
NLA media access gives permission for organisations to copy from an extensive range of papers, magazines and websites, returning 80 per cent of its revenues to the publishers to invest back in the industry.
