Vodafone swoops in New Zealand deal
Vodafone yesterday spent NZ$840m (£430m) on boosting its presence in New Zealand with the acquisition of the country's No 2 landline and broadband business.
The British company is already the biggest mobile provider in New Zealand, and will now be able to bundle together mobile and broadband deals to customers after acquiring Australia's Telstra New Zealand operations.
Shares in Vodafone fell by 2.15p to 181.9p.
