How do the super-rich get, well, super-rich? Is their success written in the stars?; Do they adopt certain routines? Do they sleep upside down?

Or do they drink five cans of Coca-Cola a day? Apparently the answer is yes – if they are Warren Buffett.

"If I eat 2,700 calories a day, a quarter of that is Coca-Cola. I drink at least five 12-ounce servings. I do it every day."

The 84-year-old certainly has a vested interest in Coke, owning 9 per cent of the stock.

He elaborated that he even has one for breakfast and likes to treat himself to a Cherry Coke when he's at home rather than in the office.

And Coca-Cola isn't the only unhealthy treat on his menu. Potato sticks and chocolate chip ice-cream are also apparent firm favourites.

"The lowest death rate is among six-year-olds. So I decided to eat like a six-year-old," Buffett said.
