'Liquid News' host Price found dead at home
Christopher Price, one of the rising stars of the BBC, has been found dead at his home in London at the age of 34.
Mr Price was the host of Liquid News, the entertainment news programme. The ebullient presenter of the show on BBC Choice signed a £250,000 two-year deal to remain with the broadcaster.
He started his career in local radio and also worked for BBC News 24, Radio 5 Live and later developed his penchant for controversy at the Liquid News programme.
Scotland Yard said last night that he was found collapsed at his home. Police were not looking for anyone else in connection with his death.
Roger Mosey, head of television news, said: "We will miss his journalism as well as his wit. He was a sparky and entertaining colleague as well as a much-loved presenter on screen."
