Antonia Kidman's ex-husband Angus Hawley dies of suspected heart attack
The journalist's husband was reported to have suffered cardiac arrest while in New York
Australian businessman Angus Hawley - ex-husband of Antonia Kidman - has died at the age of 46, it has been reported.
On behalf of the family, Hawley's brother Phillip released a statement: “We confirm that Angus Hawley has suddenly and very unexpectedly died of a suspected heart attack whilst in New York attending a conference.
“There are no further details at this time as it only occurred last night, our time. The family request the media please respect their privacy at this very sad time.”
News.com.au reports that Hawley went for dinner with a friend and went into cardiac arrest.
Hawley, a father of four, spilt with journalist Kidman in 2007. She is sister of actress Nicole Kidman.
He married fashion boutique manager Prue Fisher in 2011.
In September 2014, Kidman's father Dr Anthony Kidman died in an accident in Singapore.
