Last week it emerged that Charles Manson's impending nuptials with Afton Burton might just have been a money-making scheme allowing her to display his corpse as a tourist attraction, but now she has spoken out to say that she considers the wedding very much still on.

"Yes, I'm going to marry Charlie Manson! I think he's the most handsome man in the world," she gushed to Inside Edition.

She added of the first time the pair met: "I just thought he was the cutest thing. He probably asked me ten times if I wanted to get married."

Last week, journalist Daniel Simone alleged that Burton, 53 years younger than Manson, was hoping that she would gain possession of his corpse through marriage so she and a couple of friends could put it on display in a glass case in LA.

"He's finally realized that he's been played for a fool," Simone told The NY Post.

But Burton side-stepped the accusations, adding that she is in the relationship for the long haul.

"I'm going to stick with him whether or not he's in prison," she said of the possibility of parole.
