Kristen Bell has told Donald Trump to "zip it" and focus on the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile after he used her film Frozen to make a point about the 'Star of David' tweet row.

Last weekend, a meme showing Clinton against a backdrop of money alongside the caption: “Most corrupt candidate ever” written in a six-pointed star was tweeted from the presumptive Republican nominee’s account.

Mr Trump denied the star was a Star of David and instead said it was a “sheriff star or plain star” after accusations of anti-Semitism. On Thursday, Mr Trump tried to illustrate his point further by showing a colouring book for Disney’s Frozen with a star on it.

Bell, whose voice is instantly recognisable to countless toddlers and parents as the one behind Princess Anna, hit back at the Republican frontrunner’s tweet after he dragged the beloved Disney film into the furore.

“Zip it up Don and get your head outta ur ass,” she told the real estate mogul, before reminding him there are more important things to be concerned with such as the deaths of two black men, Mr Sterling and Mr Castile, at the hands of police officers.

Sterling was killed from multiple gunshots in Louisiana on Tuesday, while Castile was killed in Minnesota on Wednesday. Both shootings were caught on camera and have sparked an outcry in the US.

A representative for Mr Trump did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
