It isn’t just the public who are sick of Donald Trump’s constant tweeting. His wife Melania has had enough as well.

In a town hall with the Today Show, presenters attempted to glean information about the ‘real’ Trump behind the rhetoric by interviewing various members of his family.

Host Matt Lauer decided to ask Melania what she would most like to see her husband give up. There are a number of habits she could have chosen from; his propensity for branding his opponents losers or morons, his refusal to apologise - ever, his derogatory and repeated comments about Muslims, Mexicans and women, or his habit of self-aggrandising, perhaps?

But when asked what Melania would like to see disappear, she could only think of one thing: “the tweeting”.

Now, Trump has seven million followers, which means he has a huge audience for self-promotion - and any controversial retweets.

Considering this is the man who was sending 10 tweets on average per day in December and once declared his Twitter feed his own personal newspaper, it seems highly unlikely that he will stop.
