Ice-T turned from rapper to fashion critic after comparing Kanye West's latest clothing collection to "future slave gear".
West sent waves through the fashion community on Tuesday when he announced last minute plans to showcase his Yeezy Season 2 collection at New York Fashion Week.
Anna Winter, Vogue magazine'seditor-in-chief, graced the front row, sitting beside West’s wife Kim Kardashian-West and their daughter, North.
Drake, Jaden Smith and singer Lorde also watched on from the star-studded crowd as West’s sister-in-law Kylie Jenner modelled in the show.
But Ice-T appeared less than impressed with West's collection, writing on Twitter:
The show has already proved controversial after fellow designers criticised West for adding a late addition to the already hectic schedule.
Designer Anne Bowen had to move her show because it was scheduled at the same time as West’s, telling WWD: “In order for our show to have any significance, we now have to move our date and time which is a logistical nightmare.”
Ice-T’s take on West’s “fashion show stuff” comes amidst mixed reviews. Some social media reviewers proposed the line would be better off worn on the set of the Walking Dead or the Hunger Games.

However West also received praise for casting a variety of models, in terms of race, height and weight as well as his ability to cause such an impact at NYFW – exactly by putting on a last minute, secret show.
The collection is the second of the 38-year-old rappers’ collaboration with Adidas.
