Polymath rapper/producer/designer/entrepreneur/Kardashian Kanye West has now set his sights on becoming a film star, says collaborator and producer Damon Dash.

But don't expect any rom-coms or cheesy cameos, Yeezy's roles will have to be "different" and "authentic".

"Hopefully, Kanye will want to get creative and jump in as an actor or director or anything he wants," Dash told Page Six. "The only thing I don’t want to do with him is music, because we’ve already done that."

"[It would be] too obvious, there’s no heart in that," Dash said. "There’s an expectation when Kanye and I do something. It has to be different, it has to be authentic."

Not to be outdone by West's occasionally outlandish statements, Dash said he's never going to struggle making films. "I’m all artist, all day, everyday... I have so many authentic stories, I know so many authentic people," he said.

"I don’t have to wait to get it funded, I don’t have to ask permission. Everybody struggles in Hollywood, I’m not gonna be that guy.”
