While stars such as Rihanna are known for splashing out on lavish holidays, developing their extensive property portfolios and building wardrobes most could only dream of, Margot Robbie is on the much more frugal end of the spectrum when it comes to how she spends her wealth.

The Tarzan actress, 25, has revealed she shares a flat in Clapham with four other people as part of her wide-ranging cost-cutting measures.

“I don’t spend much money at all,” she told News.com.au "It actually makes me really anxious, just the idea of it. It seems crazy to spend a huge amount of money on things you don’t need."

Robbie said she saved her wages from her three-year stint on Neighbours to pay for her move to the US and acting classes.

Her current living situation is actually Robbie’s idea of “downsizing”, she explained. “Until recently we were living with seven others.”
