DJ Neil Fox arrested over sexual assault allegations
Fox was also arrested twice last year
Radio DJ Neil Fox has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in the early Nineties.
Scotland Yard said today that a 53-year-old voluntarily attended a central London police station today and was arrested over the alleged assault.
He has since been bailed until a date in late March, pending further inquiries.
Mr Fox was also arrested twice last year in connection with sexual assault allegations, once in September 2014 and then again for three further alleged sexual assaults in December.
At the time of that arrest, he "strenuously" denied the allegations and that he was "extremely upset".
The DJ presents the More Music Breakfast Show on Magic between 6am and 9am every weekday, which is currently off the air. He previously worked at Capital FM, before leaving in 2005 after 18 years.
Between 2001 and 2003, he served as a judge on music talent show Pop Idol alongside Simon Cowell and Pete Waterman.
