DNA test: Fischer not girl's father
A paternity suit against the late chess legend Bobby Fischer has come to a close after DNA tests revealed a nine-year-old girl from the Philippines was fathered by someone else.
The former world chess champion's remains were exhumed from his grave in Iceland after Marilyn Young claimed he was the father of her daughter, Jinky, who was born in 2001. The mother had a relationship with Fischer when he lived in the Philippines.
Ms Young had wanted her daughter to win a portion of Fischer's £1.6m estate but the DNA tests have now ruled her out.
