Gavin and Stacey star James Corden has got engaged to his pregnant girlfriend.
Corden, 32, asked Julia Carey to marry him while they were on holiday.
A spokeswoman for the star said: "They are engaged and are both very happy."
The pair announced in September that they were expecting their first child.
Corden appeared in teen soap Hollyoaks but got his big TV break in 2000 when he landed a regular role in the ITV1 series Fat Friends, where he met Gavin And Stacey co-star Ruth Jones.
The actor, who played Smithy in the series, and Carey, a former TV producer who is now a charity worker, were introduced by his former flatmate, actor Dominic Cooper.
The pair appeared together in the stage and film version of Alan Bennett's play The History Boys.
