Screen beauty Gemma Arterton was at the height of fashion today as she showed off some towering heels - as big as her.
The Tamara Drewe star and former Bond girl posed with a vertiginous stiletto at a launch which will be close to the hearts - and feet - of a lot of women.
Arterton was attending the opening of The Shoe Galleries at London store Selfridges, the largest shoe department in the world.
The new second floor space will boast nearly 5,000 different styles across 35,000 sq ft of space, with 100,000 pairs available at any one time.
Major luxury brands such as Jimmy Choo, Prada, Christian Louboutin, Gucci and Dior have created their own lavishly decorated "apartments" to display their shoes.
More than 30 shoes have been designed specifically for the new department, which has more floor space than Tate Modern's Turbine Hall.
The revamping of the floor is the most extensive project undertaken by Selfridges.
Jimmy Choo boss Tamara Mellon has recreated parts of her New York home with hand-painted wallpaper, gold-leaf and a faux tusk table for her salon.
