John Terry's wife Toni Poole 'demands divorce'

The wife of England football captain John Terry has left the family home and is demanding a divorce, it was claimed last night.

Toni Poole is reported to have taken the couple's children and told a friend she felt humiliated after learning of her husband's alleged affair with model Vanessa Perroncel.

Some reports suggest she has flown to Dubai.

Mr Terry, the Chelsea and England defender and captain, denies he had an affair with Miss Perroncel, the former fiancee of teammate Wayne Bridge.

The couple have been married for three-and-a-half years and have twin daughters together.
