McCartney to marry New York socialite
Three years after agreeing a £24.3 million settlement to divorce his second wife, Sir Paul McCartney is engaged to be married for a third time.
The engagement to New York socialite Nancy Shevell (pictured, with McCartney) was announced by his publicist, Stuart Bell, who said: "We're all thrilled for him." He declined to say when or where the wedding will be.
Sir Paul began dating Ms Shevell, who was married to US lawyer Bruce Blakeman for 20 years, in 2007. A year earlier he separated from Heather Mills. His first wife, Linda, died in 1998. He said after meeting his now fiancée: "I just like being in love."
