The friends and family of the late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman will gather to pay their last respects at his funeral on Friday.
His former partner and the mother of his three children, Mimi O’Donnell, planned the ceremony at the Frank E Campbell funeral parlour in New York on Tuesday. It was the first time she had been since in public since Mr Hoffman’s died aged 46 on Sunday.
Mr Hoffman’s assistant Isabella Wing-Davey accompanied 46-year-old Ms O’Donnell on the day.

The wake will be followed by a funeral at noon on Friday, at the 116-year-old St Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, near the parlour in New York.
The Upper East Side church was also the venue for Jackie Onassis’ funeral in 1994.
Cate Blanchett, Bobby Cannavale and Justin Theroux are expected to be amongst those who attend the Oscar-winning actor’s funeral.
Tributes have poured in for the Hunger Games star, from actors including Tom Hanks and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Mr Hoffman was found dead from a suspected drug overdose. Police officials have since claimed to have found up to 70 bags of heroin in the actor’s Greenwich Village apartment.
According to American media sources, several of the bags of drugs allegedly found were stamped with the ace of hearts and ace of spades symbols, both of which are said to represent brand names of heroin that street dealers use.
