Some babies with famous parents are thrust on to magazine covers before they can even crawl, so many have found it rather refreshing that Adele won't confirm she and boyfriend Simon Konecki have even had a son, let alone share personal details like the boy's name.
But could there be more going on with the mystery surrounding Adele's new baby? Her good friend, Alan Carr, has let slip that, despite being 18-days old, the boy is still yet to be named. The comedian told a Sunday newspaper: "He's beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I saw him on Wednesday. But I need to find out what his name is before I can get a gift – you can't sign a gift 'To X' now, can you?"
Until now it was assumed that the famously guarded singer was keeping schtum on the tot's name to protect his privacy. But now it looks like the "Someone Like You" singer is just being indecisive, as many new parents are.
I was actually called Molly for the first two weeks of my life before a quick turnaround.
Obviously there's no harm in waiting to find the perfect name for your new addition; just don't forget to register the baby by 42 days, Adele.
