Nicki Minaj's brother has been charged with raping a 12-year-old child.

Jelani Maraj, 37, has been charged in Nassau for first-degree rape and first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, according to Newsday.com.

Both charges carry a sentence of nine to 25 years in prison.

Details about the alleged rape, such as the victim's gender, or when and where it happened, have not yet been revealed.

Maraj is Nicki Minaj's older brother and has recently married his longtime girlfriend Jacqueline Robinson.

He is currently free from Nassau County jail after posting $100,000 bail.
