Nicky Morgan unimpressed by photographer shouting 'Morning, girls' at female ministers
The cameraman quickly apologised
Maybe there is some vague method to David Cameron's madness at not including more women in his cabinet: to save them from the belittling cries of the photographers camped outside 10 Downing Street.
The Education Secretary Nicky Morgan was leaving the Prime Minister's residence this morning after a pre-Budget Cabinet meeting when a photographer cried out to her and the Energy Secretary Amber Rudd.
The photographer in question shouted "Morning girls" at Ms Morgan and Ms Rudd, prompting laughter from the other cameramen and causing the Education Secretary to say "Girls?!" in a less than impressed manner. She pointed at the photographer in question, sarcastically replying, "Thank you."
The man can be heard saying "I apologise" as Ms Morgan and Ms Rudd make their way to the Commons for the first Conservative Budget for 18 years.
