Russell Brand showed up at billionaire Viscount Rothermere and his wife Claudia's London home with a camera crew in tow, only to find they were out.

The Spectator reports that Brand, who made the trip as part of his documentary with Michael Winterbottom, trampled across the front lawn with his film crew, only to be informed that the Daily Mail proprietor and his wife were out.

This follows on from Brand gatecrashing RBS's London headquarters, which led to an irritated bank employee to write an open letter, complaining that Brand had kept him hanging around in the cold for half an hour.

Rothermere, who has five children with wife Claudia, is worth an estimated £720 million.
