Val Kilmer 'rushed to hospital with suspected tumour' after bleeding from his throat
Top Gun star is reportedly recovering from surgery
Top Gun star Val Kimer was reportedly rushed to hospital earlier this week after he began bleeding from his throat.
Kilmer, 55, was taken to UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica on Monday where doctors performed surgery on a suspected throat tumour, TMZ reports.
The Santa Monica Fire Department confirmed to People magazine that a man was taken to hospital from his address after someone contacted the emergency services on Monday night.
TMZ reports the actor told the judge he was unable to speak at that time because his tongue was swollen.
There has been no comment on the reports from the actor’s agent.
Kilmer recently lost a small court battle to reclaim $5,000 from a security deposit on a Malibu mansion after wallpapering over the property’s kitchen cabinets.
