The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has announced the winner and shortlist of the inaugural RICS Infrastructure Photography Competition, which was launched to champion the importance of major infrastructure projects to British society. The winning image, 'Double Travel' by Rita Testa, beat nearly 300 images to be crowned this year’s winner.
Entrants were invited to photograph any man-made physical structure which benefits society, including roads, bridges, water supply systems, telecommunications and energy generating facilities, such as power stations or renewable sources of energy generation.
All shortlisted and credited entries will be showcased in a two week exhibition in RICS Parliament Square offices in London and as part of RICS Infrastructure Conference in London.
