Hotel worker is jailed for murders

Friday 17 August 2012 23:18 BST

A hotel receptionist has been jailed for at least 26 years after claiming he did not know why he killed two young workmates.

Attila Ban, 32, was given two life terms at the Old Bailey after being convicted of stabbing Tibor Vass and Alice Adams, both 20, in his staff flat at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, Heathrow Airport. Ban evaded police last August by hiding inside the base of a divan bed, which Mr Vass's body was lying on.
