PC spared jail after headbutt attack on boy, 14
A Metropolitan Police officer who headbutted a 14-year-old boy and swung him against a car escaped jail yesterday.
PC Karl Bartlett, 42, was given a three-month prison term suspended for 12 months. He was convicted last month of common assault.
The victim was a passenger in a car which was stopped in Ealing, west London, in March last year because the driver was using his mobile. The teenager and driver, Lee Rosier, 24, both received cuts and facial injuries.
