Police seals on Duggan cab 'broken'

Seals placed by police on the doors of a minicab in which Mark Duggan was shot were found broken a day after the car was ordered to be returned to the scene of his death, a court heard.

Jurors were told of the "unusual" and as yet unexplained incident at Snaresbrook Crown Court, where Kevin Hutchinson-Foster, 30, is on trial accused of supplying Mr Duggan with an illegal handgun 15 minutes before he was killed. The shooting led to riots in Tottenham, north London, which spread across the UK last year.

A tow-truck driver said he saw the cab's doors sealed before he took it to a police pound, but was told to return it soon afterwards. Two other witnesses said they saw the seals broken the next day. The case continues.
