Honeymoon murder suspect Shrien Dewani described himself as a “submissive, filthy-minded and perverted” on a gay dating website, court documents have allegedly shown.

The care-home owner, who is standing trial in South Africa accused of arranging the murder of his wife Anni, used the moniker "Asiansubguy24" on his Gaydar profile, the Daily Mirror reports.

The reported profile said he was looking for gay and bisexual men and couples aged between 18 and 99 years, for “one-on-one sex, group sex and other activities”.

Under the ‘looking for’ section, it said Dewani was seeking similar partners: “same as me, filthy and perverted but safe”.

Dewani, 34, appeared before Western Cape High Court on Monday for the first day of the two-month trial. He denies any involvement in the murder.

On Wednesday reports emerged that a British parliamentary aide who reportedly claimed to have had sex with Dewani is expected to appear as a prosecution witness next week.

On the same day, Mziwamadoda Qwabe, one of the two gunman convicted of murdering Anni told the court how he was hired by Dewani, saying: “There was a husband who wanted a wife killed.”

Lawyers for Dewani will continue to question Qwabe on Thursday.

Prosecutors argue Dewani - who on Monday said he was bisexual and had sex with male prostitutes - wanted out of the marriage, following an 18-month courtship, and that the murder was meant to seem like a carjacking-gone-wrong.

He claims the pair were enjoying their honeymoon following a luxury Mumbai wedding when their taxi was carjacked and he was ejected from the vehicle, while Anni, 28, was kept inside.
