A teenager has died after being stabbed in a disturbance following a party in east London.

Seventeen-year-old Kevin Chibueze, from Croydon, south London, was stabbed in High Road, Ilford, in the early hours of yesterday morning. It is believed that two groups, made up of 15 to 20 people, were involved in a disturbance following a private party.

The argument spilled out into the High Road and then into the car park next to Lidl, where it is believed the victim was stabbed.

Police were called to the incident at around 4am yesterday morning, where they found the teenager suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to the Royal London Hospital for surgery but died hours later. The Metropolitan Police said no arrests have yet been made. A post-mortem examination will take place on Wednesday in East Ham.
