Huge fire breaks out at a factory in Leicester
Flames seen bursting out of a disused factory in the Belgrave area of Leicester.
Fire crews have been dispatched to reports of a factory fire on Ross Walk in the Belgrave area of Leicester.
Six pumps have been dispatched according to Leicester Fire and Rescue.
Eye witness and local, Roy Rollings, captured the footage above.
Mr Rollings told The Independent: "The fire started around forty-five minutes ago, emergency services are just arriving now and attempting to pump water from the nearby canal.”
It is believed that the fire is contained in a disused factory. Nearby offices and residential buildings have now been evacuated.
"The fire is getting worse, they are starting to close all the roads around the factory.”
Several images have emerged showing large plumes of smoke - some visible from kilometres away.
In a separate incident, a smaller fire has been reported in Leicester.

No injuries have been reported in either incidents.
